‘Meticulously crafted and razor-sharp. THE COUPLE NEXT DOOR lingers long after you turn the final page’ HARLAN COBEN

Fast-paced and addictive, THE COUPLE NEXT DOOR announces a major new talent in thriller writing.

You never know what's happening on the other side of the wall.

Your neighbour told you that she didn't want your six-month-old daughter at the dinner party. Nothing personal, she just couldn't stand her crying.

Your husband said it would be fine. After all, you only live next door. You'll have the baby monitor and you'll take it in turns to go back every half hour.

Your daughter was sleeping when you checked on her last. But now, as you race up the stairs in your deathly quiet house, your worst fears are realized. She's gone.

You've never had to call the police before. But now they're in your home, and who knows what they'll find there.

What would you be capable of, when pushed past your limit?

'How well do we ever know those around us? THE COUPLE NEXT DOOR will keep you glued to the pages in search of the answer. Even then, you'll never guess the truth...until it's too late' LISA GARDNER

  • Meh

The entire storyline felt shackled and caged between the five or six main characters and the ending became labourous and boring. Lacked depth needed to pull off the twists within. Forgettable, not worth the five star reviews by any means.
  • Great twists and turns

This was a good and steady book with plenty of page turning moments. There were some good twists in the story some predicable and some not. Loved the ending and I would like to have found out more. I gave four stars as some parts of the story were repetitive because of the way it's written but then on reflection it helped you to piece the story and go back over everything. I would recommend this read.
  • Had me hooked

I'm not a big reader I seem to lose interest quick. But I must say this book had me hooked. Good story line, heart wrenching in places. A good book worth reading.

If you enjoyed the girl on the train then this is even better!
  • Poor effort

This book is was, in my opinion, boring. I didn't think it was written particularly well, and the ending completely off point. Even the name of the book isn't really relevant to the story!
