Maria Weston wants to be friends with me

Maybe that had been the problem all along: Maria Weston had wanted to be friends with me, but I let her down.

She's been hovering at the edge of my consciousness for all of my adult life, although I've been good at keeping her out, just a blurred shadow in the corner of my eye, almost but not quite out of sight.

Maria Weston wants to be friends.

But Maria Weston has been dead for more than twenty-five years.

THE ADDICTIVE PSYCHOLOGICAL THRILLER THAT EVERYONE'S RAVING ABOUT - perfect for fans of He Said/She Said, The Couple Next Door and I See You.

I was sucked in to this story after reading the blurb. Someone had recommended it to me and I am so glad she did. It is beautifully written, the school times seem very similar to the real world. The twist at the end was just perfect and definitely had me surprised! I wish Laura all the best with her books and I can’t wait to read the next!

  • Well worth a read

The main character Louise is painfully pathetic and instantly unlikable although I doubt that’s the authors true intentions. The story is a good a little confusing at times there is no real depth to each character you don’t feel them or imagine them fully. However, it pulls together nicely
  • Absolutely Brilliant!

I really enjoyed reading this book, thank you so much. Was hard to put it down. I could easily get lost in 1989, it reminded me so much as a teenager what school can be like, and your right, we had Sophie’s at my school. Can’t wait for your next book.
