Right now my mental stability depends on whether there will be a sequel to this or not. Can't get enough of Harry Hole, especially in this different family version. Even though he's still the Harry Hole with his flaws, genius, and everything else. Amazing! Hope to read more.

Excellent read from 1st to last page. Nesbo at his best. Excellent plot, with plenty of twists and turns and Harry Hole as much a maverick as ever. Well deserved 5*

Having discovered Nesbos work after reading the likes of, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, I think this has to be his finest read. Gripping, in parts there is dark humour and obviously crime. Fully recommend this one and hope it's made into a movie one day

I have just finished "The Thirst" by Jo Nesbo, featuring Harry Hole. This is the latest in a series of detective stories and all are exciting as each other. With great plots, believable characters and a comparatively simple writing style the stories are accessible to anybody and provide great entertainment. I am now waiting for the next book!
