‘A psychological page-turner’ – Good Housekeeping

If you can’t trust yourself, who can you trust?

It all started that night in the woods.

Cass Anderson didn’t stop to help the woman in the car, and now she’s dead.

Ever since, silent calls have been plaguing Cass and she’s sure someone is watching her.

Consumed by guilt, she’s also starting to forget things. Whether she took her pills, what her house alarm code is – and if the knife in the kitchen really had blood on it.

Bestselling author B A Paris is back with a brand new psychological thriller full of twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Another gripping read from B A Paris and this not disappoint. Well paced, tense, and shocking with emotion and suspense. I have read both books from this author and I cannot wait for her third.

  • The breakdown!

Eh, a good book tbh. It was a decent read. Normally I fly through books pretty quickly but for some reason, with this book I took my time. I don't know if it's because I were trying to savour the moments or if I got particularly bored throughout. However I did enjoy some parts of the book and it definitely had me sitting on the edge of my seat. I loved the outcome, I did call it from the beginning but the way it unfolded was a huge shock to me, a pleasant shock that is. I was not particularly fond of the ending of the book as I believed that some parts were pretty much left up in the air. Not a bad book though, but I can outline some parts where the author could have brushed up on.

Nail biting, intense. Although I manage to work out some of the outcome quite early on, I couldn't put it down. Great read.

I really was gripped by Behind closed Doors so couldn't wait to read this new book. I thought I had it worked out quite early on but was very wrong. Gripping storyline, great characters and as with the last one I was disappointed to reach the end - what am I going to do now? I also like to think about what happens next so maybe I'll fill my time with that. Looking forward to whatever comes next from this great author.

The first few pages started off really slowly, and at some moments the way it described Cassandra's struggle was a way too much, but any ways it is really interesting.
