About time this can't to the iTunes Store. Donald Pleasance at his creepiest in the most iconic 'boogeyman' film of all time. Keeping all the lights on tonight!

I've been regularly searching for this movie on iTunes for years and finally it's on! A truly good horror film is a rare thing and Halloween is one of the best. It doesn't use special effects, it's doesn't rely on a high body count and it doesn't even rely on that much gore. It's power comes from the tension it builds, the real characters it portrays and the fear of something we all get twitchy about on a dark night alone in the house. This is the movie that film makers should study when they decide to make a horror.
  • No cgi, just raw talent from a master film maker!

The director takes a low budget at brings out the best in his actors and crew especially the D.P. Why do so many directors make their best stuff with less money?
