Steve Rogers leads a newly formed team of Avengers in their efforts to safeguard humanity. But when an incident involving them results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers into two camps – one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark’s surprising decision to support government oversight.

4K (like all of the Disney/MCU films on iTunes). Would give it 5 stars otherwise.

Not what you expect from such a big company bad film sticks nothing to the comic books almost look like warnerbros made this.

First off, I wasn’t a fan of this film when it first came out. I thought it was ok, but the plot didn’t work for me. Now, after rewatching all the MCU movies on Blu-ray, I have now realised how important this film is. It was the most serious MCU film I have ever seen. Spider man and Ant man were the highlights of the film, but the characters and visuals were all so good. Overall, I love this film now. But it was a shame I didn’t love it the first time round. Oh well. :)
  • Just as good as any Superhero film

This is a story about human internal conflict; you feel for Captain America's wish to stay independent and his drive to create a better world his way, but you also feel for Iron Man's guilt, pain and remorse for New York, Ultron, Sokovia, Lagos and Tony's sincere fears that the whole Avengers programme is beginning to spiral out of control. You feel for the Winter Soldier who has been reduced to a killing machine and yet has begun to fight back to reclaim his humanity. You also feel for the villain as he's had his patriotism and humanity absolutely consumed by grief and revenge, as well as feeling for Black Panther (again, consumed by grief). Throughout the film you find yourself changing sides constantly (I'm kinda on Captain America's, but Tony's side still reaches out to me) and the ending sets up the forthcoming Marvel releases well. Looking forward to Infinity Wars(!)

How how how, I mean how on the earth could you give this movie 5 star ? It was such a disappointment. To me story was none sense, sick, out of order, I don't know how to explain.

I find marvel films to be either hit or miss but this is definitely a hit with a solid five stars. Loved it.....

Thin and flimsy plot loosely links easily foreseeable fight and action scenes into a yawning waste of time. Spiderman was the only enjoyable short moment in it.
