Christian Wolff (Ben Affleck) is a math savant with more affinity for numbers than people. Behind the cover of a small-town CPA office, he works as a freelance accountant for some of the world’s most dangerous criminal organizations. With the Treasury Department’s Crime Enforcement Division, run by Ray King (J.K. Simmons), starting to close in, Christian takes on a legitimate client: a state-of-the-art robotics company where an accounting clerk (Anna Kendrick) has discovered a discrepancy involving millions of dollars. But as Christian uncooks the books and gets closer to the truth, it is the body count that starts to rise.

I honestly thought this was going to be a run of the mill action outing for Affleck and was left totally blown away. Great origin story, fantastic depth of character and a wonderful execution on a very sensitive subject matter than could have easily gone down the road of Affleck as a victim rather than the wonderful anti hero they developed here. Looking forward to the sequel.

Great movie, good plot, good acting and good action. Autism is complexed and it was great to see someone in a lead role play it well. Loved the twist and different characters built into the story.

  • Love the End

Nice wee gem, people like me are the heroes of the movie. Very unusual for once people with disabilities are given very positive roles in a movie. Though no obvious actors with the actual disability playing the roles, now that would have been even better.

Even with generous doses of suspending criticism to enter this action world, it was wooden and dull. Unbelievable and pedestrian.
