Description

Writer/director/producer M. Night Shyamalan returns with an original thriller that delves into the mysterious recesses of one man’s fractured, gifted mind. Though Kevin (James McAvoy) has evidenced 23 personalities to his trusted psychiatrist, Dr. Fletcher (Betty Buckley), there remains one still submerged who is set to materialize and dominate all the others. Compelled to abduct three teenage girls led by the willful, observant Casey (Anya Taylor-Joy, The Witch), Kevin reaches a war for survival among all of those contained within him - as well as everyone around him - as the walls between his compartments shatter apart.

An intelligent thriller with sinister moments. McAvoy does a stellar job and Betty Buckley shines. Very much worth a purchase.

Started out well but quickly became a bit pointless and the ending was just the cherry on the cake for me. Dont waste your time.

I have found M.Night to be hit and miss movie wise but by picking James McAvoy as the lead he helped bring his work back on form. James is what makes this movie for me. Yes it's shot very well, visually it looks good and the style of filming adds to the tension but James is what makes it convincing. I feel like the movie kind of lost its way towards the end but I get that they are trying to place it in the same world as a previous movie. It's not a perfect film but I enjoyed it more than I thought I would.

Clever Concept, nicely written, gripping story lines.... Mastering the (Mind over Matter) has been the holy grail among martial artists, special forces and healers around the world over centries. Unexplained phenomenon such as the hysterical strength remains unexplained. This movie touched on this subject very nicely. See for yourself, I am a fan for his work anyway, so may be i am a bit biased. Truthfully, I think this is one of his finest work yet.

I preordered this in march and it won't tell me the date that it will download. I watched this film in the cinema, but wanted to watch it again. I found it a good film, but very disappointed that it won't download, slightly suspicious that it was a scam.
