  • Sometimes it's better to let go...

Don't get me wrong I was a big fan of the franchise. However, it just seems that the pyrotechnics and the raining cars, wait...what raining cars! That particular scene should've ended up on the cutting room floor and stayed there. Other scenes were okay but the killing of Elena (mother in front of the child) was also a step too far. Franchises are good for the industry, but sometimes you just gotta let go and move on.
  • Great, but couple of cringe moments

I enjoyed this installment of the series, but a couple of moments were a bit too slapstick/ cringey for me. The money-no-object approach is a convenient way to make anything possible despite impossible timescales, so the film relies on massive suspension of disbelief - even more so than the previous two movies. Charlize Theron is very watchable but her final moment on screen came across as an easy get-out for the writers. Scott Eastwood was a great addition to the cast. Helen Mirren's role was a nice twist!

Thought I would rent this it was £1.99 so worth a cheap go. Now I understand there’s lots of fans of these films obviously universal studios are up to their old tricks. They got their usual cash cows you know Jurassic films fast n furious etc. This is yet another pointless sequel where the bald middle aged fat bloke crashes yet another black dodge charger AGAIN ! And says words like we’re family. Now people seem to love watching these films which are all the same to me. Don’t get me wrong number one and especially no 2 are great but it’s just going on and on. People falling for the same old franchise tricks. It’s obvious there’s going to be more and more of these as long as they are making money. Please if you love a car film watch taxi that French film made well before these or taxi 2 even initial D....

Enjoyable movie, however £5.50 for a rental - come on Apple, that's completely ridiculous if you're not watching in 4K. 60% increase on prior rental price...

Great film. Would have paid £3.50 to rent but decided to borrow a copy of the DVD from a mate. £5.49 to rent a film is extortion!
