A gripping documentary on one of the greatest movie stars of all time. In 1970 McQueen set out to make 'the ultimate racing movie'. It would be called Le Mans. He would lose his marriage, close friendships, control of his film and risk lives. Obsession, Betrayal & Vindication. The superstar who risked everything in pursuit of his dream.

  • Such dedication

There's no doubting Steve McQueen's talent. And at his prime he wanted to make a movie about a subject he felt passionately about. So he did. Sure there was no real script. Sure there was lots that could go wrong - and did - but the end result is a cult movie for people like me. This documentary is a superb film that shows what the process took from him. Ultimately, possibly cost him his life... If you're a McQueen fan, Porsche enthusiast or fan of the 24 Heures du Mans - you'll really enjoy the film.

Directors have done an incredible job and the attention to detail, delving into the story, behind the story, of McQueen's ill-fated Le Mans movie, is just brill!!
  • Insight into an obsession

Really great insight into the passion and obsession that drove McQueen to make the movie. Recommended for all petrol heads, endurance racing followers and and McQueen fans.
