Set at the dawn of time, when prehistoric creatures roamed the earth, Early Man tells the story of courageous caveman hero Dug and his best friend Hognob as they unite his tribe against a mighty enemy Lord Nooth and his Bronze Age City to save their home.

  • Football I hate it

This the worst aardman film ever a waste of money if I had brought a hard copy I could sell it . But the rest of there I love with a passion
  • Brilliant family fun

Another great Nick Park movie. So many laugh out loud moments especially for the adults. The references to English football history, the voice talents of Johnny Vegas and Richard Ayoade as well as the brummy accent of Mark William. Not to mention all the other big names all come together to make this film a great watch.
  • Ew football

If it wasn’t about football maybe it could have been better. Pretty bore.
  • Rent don’t buy

I bought this because The creators of Wallace & Grommit are family favourites, wish I had not. Unlike their other movies which we never tire off this is one we’ll never watch again. The animation was fabulous, some laughs, no subtlety, no intrigue..... football. For many Football may be the beautiful game, for many others it isn’t including us. Not enough in this film to draw us to it again. Watchable, but a bit of an own goal.
  • Ok,but not what you want

This is a sports movie, that starts of nice but ends with them playing a game of football and gets super boring and pointless, save yourself some time and money and don’t get this
  • Cracking film from Aardman

I like Aardman, their evil guys never come across as really dark or scary and they definitely lack the same element of ‘peril’ found in Disney/Pixar, they won’t give the kids nightmares. Nice film, simple plot - good versus greed. Some nice visual jokes, brilliant characters and voice overs from Eddy Redmayne, Mark Williams to name but two. Loved the hog. All in all a great film for family watching.

    This film is boring
  • Disappointing

Any picture that is the result from the spectacular and meticulous studio Aardman should never feel both redundant and past it’s prime, Early Man is just that. It doesn’t have a place or particular charm like other contemporaries such as Pixar or Studio Ghibli releases. If anything it feels like a subsided childish entry, in a filmography that was built upon a glimmer of uniqueness and fun. The fun is fleeting, characters boring and dull. It is the wonderfully constructed world and animation that saves Aardman from a first real disaster.
  • It’s ok

Some moments that you’ll chuckle along to however by their own standards it’s a bit ‘meh’ it will pass you by and you’ll forget it almost as soon as you’ve seen it.
