Part campy musical, part horror film, the movie details the travails of a squeaky clean couple stranded at a creepy castle where the inhabitants sing and dance through a bacchanalian romp of murder, bisexuality and cannibalism. The madcap, musical mayhem begins when rain-soaked Brad and Janet take refuge in the castle of Dr. Frank-N-Furter, a transvestite mad scientist from outer space who is about to unveil his greatest creation! Join Tim Curry, Barry Bostwick, Susan Sarandon and rock star Meat Loaf in the most popular cult classic of all time.

  • A Must watch

Ahh, so mad it is great, totally different, off the wall and ahead of its time. Tim Curry's voice makes it worth watching for a start, not to mention Meat loaf's wall crashing, all singing and dancing performance, Christopher Biggings a time-warping...madness/genius roller coaster ride. Cool

I'm usually put off by musicals but this was a pleasure to watch. Tim curry was the reason I gave it a chance and he (as always) delivered.

If you haven't seen this film yet, why not? This film has it all it's sexy, scary, paranormal and funny! A camp, dark comedy musical with a little sci-fi mixed in. If it was the only film I could watch for the rest of my life I'd be very happy.πŸ˜€

This thriller is as good as my favourite thriller in disney history, The Return of Jafar. Jonathan Freeman is my top number 1 villain voice actor of all time and Tim Curry is my top number 6 villain voice actor of all time.

  • More than just a movie....

    By amberpicks
This film is not merely the pick of it's genre (rock musical with timeless tunes and quirky lyrics) it is a cult classic. For girl's who like boys and boys who are like girls, this is one film all of them really love. Richard O'Brien's song-writing talents cannot be underestimated and whilst the plot of 'Shock Treatment' is poor in comparison, the songs are just as strong... so check them out if you can find them,

This is definitely one of the best movies/musicals of all time. If you have not seen this film. I want to know what you are waiting for, because it is awesome. However if your buying it on an iPod I recommend, you download it on you computers iTunes first, as it doesn't transfer like songs of tv shows do. I found out that out the hard way, but thanks to apples excellent customer service my problem was quickly fixed
