  • I preferred the first one.

Ok. The sequel is not bad, but it felt like a rehash. Nice to see the original cast all back, but year, not a fan of this film. It I loved how scary the first one was, though.
  • Better than the first

Much better than the first film with really tense scenes I found that it was slightly less scary however it's less boring than the first. There is tense scenes throughout and plenty of suspense. One of my favourite horror movies.

This movie is the scariest movie I have seen probably in a long time since sinister and I really suggest this to people who watch horrors. It was so tense OMG I could feel myself jumping out my skin. VERY WELL DONE
  • Great

Whilst it does drop into the odd ghost cliche (e.g. the piano) it is nevertheless scary with an original if far fetched plot. Combines with the odd bit of humour too. Helps to watch the first one though.

This is certainly a scream fear factor film ! Great enigmatic storyline, convincing mystery however because of the fast pace of events it can become a little confusing of the locations and the establishment of the characters.the twist at the end can be annoying also.
  • How a horror should be.

Saw it at the cinema and I thought it was brilliant, lots of scary bits and an excellent story that all ties in nicely, watch the previous movie first because it all ties in together. Personally I'd watch these back to back for the full experience. Can't wait for the next instalment in 2015!!
  • Mediocre

When I saw the first Insidious I was blown away by the originality of the story and it was truly scary. Unfortunately, Insidious 2 lacks the scare-factor of the first movie, which is what I was hoping it would deliver. This movie, however, makes clever use of cut-backs to the first movie and adds depth to the overall story the two films depicts.

pretty rubbish - plot goes all over seems to borrow from The Shining and standard jumpy scary bits - don’t buy if you liked the first one
  • Average at best

Not too bad a bit boring and not as good as the first one. Follows on from the first one so answers a few questions but no where as jumpy as the first.
