Description

The Inbetweeners 2 reunites Jay, Neil, Simon and Will for their latest critically acclaimed smash-hit comedy adventure. Having left school in the summer the boys have gone their separate ways, most noticeably Jay, who delights in telling the others via email that he is on a ‘mental gap year’ in the ‘sex capital of the world’ – Australia. Neil is desperate to see Jay, and Will and Simon are having such a miserable time at Uni they decide they might as well visit him to see what the fuss is about. Once in Oz, the boys discover Jay’s tales of super-stardom in Sydney aren’t quite true, but Will sees this as an opportunity to embark on a travelling experience, with cool people who are doing a gap year properly. What follows is an “hilarious” (The Sun) and “relentlessly funny” (The Times) romp through camp-fire singing, unintentional proposals, water-slide disgrace, dolphin feeding and a trip to the outback for some real travelling. Will they survive?

The Inbetweeners 2 is a really good, funny movie. It’s got good jokes in it and the characters are hilarious. In my opinion, this movie is one of the best movies of 2014! Hope there’s a sequel to this soon.

Didn't quite give you the 'feel good' factor of the first movie but still really enjoyable. If you like them you'll enjoy this too.

Huge fan of the series , even bigger fan of the first film . This second film is a bit....sh...poor ! . Reasons why... 1..This feels like a TV episode dragged out to make a film , funny , but goes nowhere ....2.. Everything in the first film felt more real , giving a fitting end to a great TV series .....3..The first one completed everything where the second one brought us back to the beginning...4 Why Australia?

This one is so disappointingly poor. The first film is far superior. It is a summation of small ad hoc sketches with no overall story arc. Unfortunately a lot of these sketches are sub par by the boys' standard, particularly taking into account the budget and opportunity they had. I had to watch it to know it was bad. I expected a lot more. Also, it makes sense this is the last one as they have clearly lost their bounce.

Cack! Very disappointed as I loved the series and first film. This was a waste of my time and money. Didn't really laugh once. What went wrong?
  • Just cashing in, this is so bad...

Bad script, jokes, acting, directing and cinematography not in line with the series... The first movie and TV show are both great, this is just an exercise to dip into the wallets of fans. Read the reviews before paying to rent!

The series was great, the fist movie was great, this is woeful, also like it was written by someone completely different. The jokes are just not funny and try to be over crude, the first movie was just as rude but actually funny, this is terrible. Real shame
