Adapted from Michael Bond’s beloved books, Paddington follows the comic misadventures of a polite young Peruvian bear with a passion for all things British, who travels to London in search of a home. Finding himself lost and alone at Paddington Station, he begins to realise that city life is not all he had imagined – until he meets the kind Brown family, who read the label around his neck (‘Please look after this bear. Thank you.’) and offer him a temporary haven. But little do the Browns realise just how much comic mayhem one young bear will bring to their family life, and when this rarest of bears catches the eye of a sinister, seductive taxidermist, it isn’t long before his home, and very existence, is under threat. Produced by David Heyman (The Harry Potter series) Paddington, is a timeless and universal story written and directed by Paul King. With Ben Whishaw as the voice of Paddington Bear, the film’s all-star cast includes Hugh Bonneville, Nicole Kidman, Sally Hawkins, Jim Broadbent, Peter Capaldi and Julie Walters.

  • Great Fun

Watched this movie with my 5 year old. Loved every minute. I wish they made more fun movies like this. Brilliant
  • I’m surprised I loved it

When I saw it advertised before originally being released I wasn’t bothered by the film, didn’t strike an interest at all... then iTunes was promoting it for only £5 so I watched the iTunes version preview and it looked pretty good, so I took a chance and I purchased it, I actually loved it. I’m now looking forward to the sequel later this year.
  • Only 3.99 on amazon

Looked at this the other day and was priced £7.99. Checked amazon was priced at £3.99 still cheaper than the reduced offer price on iTunes.
  • Absolutely brilliant

Amazing film for the whole family!! I saw it at cinema twice when it was released - couldn't stop laughing - certain scenes are hilarious. Best price at £2.99 to download to my iPad Pro even though I already have it on DVD. It'll get me ready for the sequel in November! The actors voice (Q from 007, Spectre) for Paddington is excellent & the Brown household amongst supporting characters is champagne casting!!
  • I love this film!

It's really funny and it also manages to be really cute without going over-the-top cringy. The only slightly confusing part is the villian. I mean, yes, she wants to stuff Paddington, otherwise there would be no point in the plot; what I don't get is why. There is a backstory, but it seems a bit weak to suggest that little Millicent grew up to be a really over-the-top evil taxidermist who is prepared to abseil down buildings to catch a bear just because her dad failed to bring back a specimen. Still, this does nothing to spoil the film or its message, and it's a great family movie for all ages: ignore the PG, I'd happily allow a 5-year-old to see it but it's still entertaining for adults.

Probably the most loveable movie of all time. I mean who doesn't love an adorable, clumsy little bear who was brought to life from your childhood?
  • Amazing! A must see!

This movie is amazing, for all the family not just for kids. Very funny and extremely sweet. Not the same as the book though. That was a bit surprising. Anyway, it's an amazing film!!!
