Have watched this film several times now with my husband, and most recently with my 77 year old Father in Law (who considering the constant barrage of swear words was also laughing out loud). Melissa McCarthy is brilliant, ad-lib genius! If you love comedy, you’ll love this! A must watch..

I wasn’t expecting much for a £0.99p HD rental but it was very funny - and I’ve spent £0.99p on a helluva lot worse. Jude, Jason, Rose and Miranda make for a great supporting roles for the star, Spy. Very enjoyable and funny but quite Johnny English or Get Smart - not a bad first attempt though. Highly recommended 👍

I enjoyed this film for several reasons, I have to agree with some reviews about the excessive use of swearing but once my brain had rewired itself, this turned out to be a good popcorn movie. McCarthy plays her role with ease and has some great lines which she throws out, but for me, many laughs have to go to Mr Statham; for all his 'serious' roles, he seems to to take great pleasure in sending himself up at every showing (I wont be able to watch FaceOff again with out grinning!) All in on all, I found this film to be entertaining with some great set pieces from the more unusual fight scenes and the use of public transport to the great use of the cast at all levels with no one trying to steal the show. I recommend this but maybe not with any little ones in ear shot! (and SOMEONE get Jason Statham to do more comedy!)

I convinced my husband to rent this - he was not so sure but by the end he was in agreement it's a very funny film. Statham set himself up brilliantly. Melissa McCarthy was fantastic. great movie

Puerile, potty mouthed, and unfunny. Could only watch thirty minutes before giving up. No redeeming features.
