Really good storyline that keeps you watching and wondering, with lots of unexpected twists to it. Highly recommended.
  • Shocking!

Script and acting are the worst I have seen in a long time. I cannot believe this was published or produced by the BBC! Watched 30mins and had to quit. Looking to get a refund! Honestly the only thing going for this show is the scenery. If you liked Missing don't watch this! If you liked The Fall, don't watch this! If you like a believable characters, prefereably with some decent acting, don't watch this!

  • Top of the Lake Haunting and Beautiful

I live in this area, it captures the scenic beauty of the South Island of NZ just outside Queenstown. It has overtones of a deep mystery, compelling to watch, and very well done.

The series really is a wonderful journey. Scenery spectacular, pace spot on. Current themes and social issues, particularly what we choose to be blind to.

  • Masterpiece

Jane Campion creates a real masterwork with this short miniseries set in the expansive and epic scenery of New Zealand. A plot with depth, creepy nights in the forest and an amazing cast of characters with a hint of Deliverance, Twin Peaks and the Killing but with more subtlety. Watch it….
