Keep on Kasabian
By Snazzy Polly
Credit where credit is due. Still going strong with infectious energy and consistency.
I first saw Kasabian live in Shepherds Bush Empire supporting The Cooper Temple Clause.
Keeping it real in a mainstream of robots ... hats off lads. I love you.
FOC- Fantastic album
For Crying Out Loud is definitely one of the best albums alongside Liam Gallagher's "As You Were" of 2017. Songs like "Looking for some action" and "acid house" are brilliant to dance to, looking for action has a sort of 70s groovy/funky which I love. They also have beautiful rock ballads like "All through The Night" which has great vocals and makes you emotional listening to it and "The Party Never Ends" also has beautifully sad lyrics like "Here we are looking at the sun, nothing's going to change"
The album has rock and roll dance vibes and also ballads which are just stunning. As an Album is possibly the best one they've done yet. Every song is great and even though it sounds like it's from the past, it is timeless.
Should a band, this far into their career, still be able to produce albums this perfect?
They retain an edge over all their contemporaries by consistently supplying excellently crafted, rollicking albums of pure quality.
Why they are not lauded as much as the very dull Coldplay is beyond me!
Fantastic album lads. No surprise there!
Having seen Kasabian before in concert. I was delighted to hear they were touring again!! Much excitement!!! Thought I'd find the new album amazing but boy was I wrong!! What in the actual f@@k is this rubbish??? Where have my beloved kasabian gone??? I'm so disappointed!! 😭😭😭
For crying out load!
The title sums this album up nicely! Some good tracks as always but when they start sounding like George Michael combined with scissor sisters then I think they may have gone too far.........
After 15 years of Kasabian,I think this may be the best album of them all, with it's live songs and catchy songs it's a definite favourite
Not Bad At All🙌🏻
Gone the same way as muse very pop rock than rock and roll. But better than a lot of pop crap that's out there today
This music makes me feel sick 😷 absolutely trash
A step up from 48:13 but maybe not as good as older albums
I really didn't enjoy 48:13, this though is much better. Songs like Ill Ray (The King), Comeback Kid & Bless This Acid House stand out in my view. Other songs such as Good Fight & All Through The Night are also enjoyable. I still think as a whole Kasabian, West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum & Velociraptor! are stronger albums than this one but I would still recommend it for any die hard Kasabian fan.
